Judith K. "Judy" Nelson, 74, went to her Heavenly home on July 15, 2020.

She was born February 11, 1946 to Allen and Earlene Nelson. Judy graduated from Winfield High School in 1965 and started at Venus Academy, a cosmetology school, in July. After graduation, she worked in Wichita for about a year, then managed Ruby's Beauty Nook, and then The Parlour in Winfield for several years. In June 1983, she opened her own shop, "The Magic Mirror", working until April 2018.

Judy loved spending time and holidays with her family. She also enjoyed making holiday wreaths, flower arrangements for family and friends, decorations for her flower garden, and cooking.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Janice, and a brother Randy.

She is survived by her sister Lori (Bob) Fleenor; nephews, Travis Wells, Shane Fleenor, Kyle Fleenor; niece Amy Biby; great nieces and nephews, Jacob, Breanna, Lucas, Trent, Hailey, Patrick, Bethany, and Zachary all of Winfield.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 7 P.M. The family will greet visitors during this time.  The family asks attendees to please wear masks to the visitation and services.
