Jon F. Bargas' Obituary
Jon F. Bargas, 62, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday morning, February 26, 2017 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita, Kansas.
Born February 16, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of Rita Joyce Bargas. In 1970, he went to live at the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center and remained there until moving to Southwind ResCare in 1996. In March of 1999, he moved to Mosaic. Jon enjoyed doing activities with his housemates and friends, going on picnics, fishing and going to the zoo. He also enjoyed watching Animal Planet and listening to country music.
His family includes:
His guardian: Kathy Hall of Winfield; and
His friends and housemates at Mosaic.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from noon to 2.
A memorial has been established in Jon's name for Mosaic. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
