Johnna L. Kerr, 70, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday afternoon, March 9, 2020, at her home.
On February 18, 1950, Johnna was born to Clair and Geneva (Faulkner) Heath, in Seminole, Oklahoma, a proud member of the Cherokee Nation. The family later moved to Fairfax, Oklahoma where she was raised and received her education. Johnna followed her sister Paula to Winfield, Kansas in the early 1970's where she remained the rest of her life.
On July 18, 1997 she was united in marriage to Martin Kerr and the two lovingly blended their families. Johnna worked as a property manager for Floyd McCord for many years until retiring in 2017. She loved her family and friends, and was a true friend to many. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids. She also enjoyed fishing, going to Grand Lake, gardening, and working in the yard with Marty.
Her family includes her husband Marty Kerr of Winfield; her children, Roy Dee Hopper; Amanda Roberts; Japheth Kerr; Nevada Bagby; Tyson Kerr; Clayton Kerr; Adam Kerr; Alexa Coon; her sisters, Paula Elliott; Jeanith Goad; her brothers, Errol Heath; Doyle Heath; her grandchildren, Chloe Hopper; Sydney Hopper; Greyson Ritchey; Ellinore Roberts; Shea Kerr; Lucas Kerr; Michael Bagby; Rhett Bagby; RJ Bagby; Izaiah Kerr; Carter Kerr; Alexandra Kerr; Ian Kerr; Cash Coon; Paetyn Coon; Grayson Coon; and her best friend of 50 years Cynthia Thomson and husband Tommy.
In addition to her parents Johnna was preceded in death by a brother Dennis Heath, and a nephew Doyle Wedd.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Fairfax Cemetery in Fairfax, Oklahoma. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening, March 11, 2020, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield, Kansas. The family will greet visitors from 4 to 6 that evening.
A memorial has been established in Johnna's name for the American Lung Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
