John Scott Holman, 30, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita.
Born September 20, 1986 in Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of Brian and Jami (Ulrich) Holman. He was raised and received his education in Washington, graduating from Chrysalis High School in Woodenville, Washington in 2005. He then moved to La Mirada, California and attended Biola University. He then moved to Winfield, Kansas and continued his education at Cowley County Community College and later, Friends University.
Following school, he began his career as a writer. Scott was published in many magazines and other publications. His passion was writing, movies and music.

Many cousins.
Scott was preceded in death by a sister, Kassidy Holman and his paternal grandparents, Chuck Holman and Nedra LeMay.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Inurnment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Scott's name for the Ever After Farm. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
