Obituary

SGT. JOHN TYLER GOOD, 28, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and formerly of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.

Born on November 26, 1982 in Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of John Thomas and Deborah (Wright) Good. He was raised and received his education in Wichita and graduated from Northeast Magnet High School in 2001. Following graduation, John entered the United States Army.

He was united in marriage to Kamber Ryder on August 20, 2005 in Collinsville, Illinois. The couple made their home in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. John served as a Sergeant in the United States Army.

His daughter: Kyah Marie Good of the home;
His parents: John and Deborah Good of Wichita, KS;
His sisters: Bobbie Joanne Wright of NM; Angie Ray King of NM; and Lisa Marie Good of KS.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday October 14, 2011 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield, Kansas. Military committal honors will follow at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery also in Winfield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, October 13, 2011. The family will greet friends from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M., that evening.

A memorial has been established in John's name in lieu of flowers to aid the Soldiers and Caregivers of the Fort Campbell, KY, Wounded Warriors. Contributions may be made through the funeral home or Defenders of Freedom/specified John Good Funds.
