John Jeffrey Flock, 52, formerly of Winfield, Kansas passed away Friday morning, November 16, 2012 at his home in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Born November 19, 1959 in Winfield, Kansas, he was the son of Ronald J. and Clara B. (Gilbert) Flock. He was raised and received his education in Winfield graduating from Winfield High School. After school he joined the United States Navy.

After leaving the Navy Jeff moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas where he remained most of his life. He enjoyed refurbishing older model cars. He also loved to lend a helping hand to those in need. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Linda for providing him comfort and joy in the final stages of his life.

His family includes:
His brother: Gilbert Flock of Winfield, KS; and
His sister: Tammy McClanahan of Berthoud, CO;

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Highland Cemetery in Winfield. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service on Monday November 19, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. The family will greet visitors that evening.

Memorials have been established in Jeff's name for the Cowley County Humane Society and for Arkansas Hospice of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
