John Allen Cates, 67, of Rock, Kansas, passed away Sunday evening, October 19, 2014 at his home.
Born December 24, 1946 in Tacoma, Washington, he was the son of Andrew and Betty Cates. He was united in marriage to Teresa Chastain on May 28, 1977 in Aneheim, California.
His family includes:
His wife: Teresa of Rock, KS;
His son: Jimmy Cates; and
His daughter: Martha Goucher of Towanda, KS;
His 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
