Joe Harvey Hawley, 81 of Midwest City, OK, died Nov 27, 2022.

Joe was born on September 12, 1941, in Cambridge, KS, the son of George Fitzhugh and Elsie Hawley. He graduated from Cambridge High School in 1959. In Dec 1965 he married his primary school classmate Betty Ann O'Daniel at Grace Methodist Church, Winfield KS. Joe enlisted in the Air Force in 1967, had a tour of duty in Vietnam, and served in nine exciting locations around the world over the next 23 years of service. He then went into a second career as a grocery warehouse supervisor.

Joe is survived by his daughter Jennifer Hawley of Moore, OK and son Aaron Hawley of Mcloud, OK; two wonderful grandchildren Makyla Hawley and Aaron Hawley Jr.; as well as two siblings Lorna Reed and Richard Hawley.

Joe knew the Lord and today we rejoice in the knowledge that he has passed the frailties of this Earth and is forever at home with his Savior.

Private family burial will take place at Cambridge Cemetery at a later date. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of local arrangements.
