JOE ANGLEMYER, 104, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away early Thursday morning, July 25, 2013 at Winfield Rest Haven.
Born October 5, 1908 in Burden, Kansas, he was the son of John and Laura (Wade) Anglemyer. He was raised and received his education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School.
Joe married Oneata Hicks at the age of 30 in 1938 in Winfield. The couple lived in Winfield. Oneata preceded him in death in 1992. On June 15, 2002, Joe married Verona Briggs in Winfield. Joe worked as a salesman for Rainbow Baking Company for many years. He retired at the age of 62 in 1971.
Mr. Anglemyer was a member of the First Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and bowling.

His daughter: Jean Ketcham and husband, Mike of Minneapolis, MN;
His grandchildren: Michelle Ketcham, Angela Hightower and Alan Anglemyer; and
His 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his first wife, Oneata, Joe was preceded in death by his brother, Forest Anglemyer and his sisters, Elsie Royce, Emma Baucham and Mary Sleight.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
Memorials have been established in Joe's name for the American Cancer Society and for CornerStone Bible Fellowship. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
