Jill J. Edwards, 76, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday morning, June 14, 2026 at Reflection Living in Wichita.

Born February 26, 1950, in Winfield, Kansas, she was the daughter of Gerald and Maxine (Taton) Hittle. She was raised and received her education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 1968. Following high school, she attended Cowley County Community College before accepting a job with AT&T and moving to Kansas City.

On March 6, 1971, Jill was united in marriage to Craig Edwards in Kansas City. The couple made their home in the Kansas City area before moving to Winfield in 1976, where they would spend the remainder of their lives. In addition to being a dedicated, loving homemaker, Jill ran her own business cleaning homes in the Winfield area. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, especially big holiday meals. Craig preceded her in death on December 19, 2025.

Survivors include his children, Chad Edwards and wife, Teresa of Norwich, Kimberly Edwards of Winfield, and Kelley Bolander-Hendrickson and husband, Rick of Katy, Texas; her sister Mitzi Wells of Derby; her grandchildren, Lexia Skeet and husband, Zack of Wichita, and Brooke Bolander of Kyle, Texas; and her great-granddaughter Arya Skeet.

Jill was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date under the direction of Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.

A memorial has been established in Jill’s name for the March of Dimes. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
