Jessica Lee Smith Riley, 29, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday morning, December 21, 2017 at her home.

Born December 27, 1987 in Winfield, Kansas, she was the daughter of Bob and Hui Son (Yi) Smith. She was raised and received her early education in Germany. The family later moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi where Jessica graduated from Forrest County Agricultural High School in 2006. She then attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Business in December 2010. After school, Jessica began working at H&R Block and was currently working in the Information Technology Department.

Jessica was baptized a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Kansas City. She was also a member of the Kansas State Alumni Association. She enjoyed drawing animation and baking. Her boys were her life's joy.

Her sons: Landon and Arden Riley of Kansas City;
Her parents: Bob and Hui Son Smith of Winfield;
Her brother: Junior Smith and wife, Karen of Anchorage, AK;
Her maternal grandfather: Yi Ul Song of South Korea;
Her paternal grandfather: Lowell Smith of Burden; and
Numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Jessica was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Kim Sun Ja and her paternal grandmother, Lois Smith.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Burden Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening, December 28, 2017 from 4 to 8. The family will greet visitors that evening.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Jessica Smith Riley Memorial. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
