Jeremy Dwayne Bolander, 47, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Wesley Medical Center.

Born January 27, 1971 in Winfield, Kansas, he was the son of Roger D. and Linda Carol (Baucom) Bolander. He was raised and received his education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 1989. He then attended Kansas State University before transferring to Wichita State University where he graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources. Following school, Jeremy went to work for Koch Industries in Wichita and in 2001, transferred with Koch to Houston, Texas. He married Kelley Edwards in 2002 at Grand Lake in Oklahoma. They made their home in Sugarland, Texas. To this union, one daughter was born. The couple later divorced.

While in Texas, Jeremy worked for several companies in the oil and gas business including Enbridge and Memorial Resources. In 2016, he returned to Wichita and began JDB Enterprise and purchased Copy Express. He enjoyed outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting and boating. He also enjoyed watching his daughter play volleyball.

His father: Roger Bolander of Winfield; and
His brother: Bobby Bolander and wife, Julie of Kingwood, TX.

In addition to his mother, Jeremy was preceded in death by a brother, James Samms.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, March 2, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors from 4 to 7 that evening.

A memorial has been established in Jeremy's name for Tisdale United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
