Jerald "Satch" Linnabary, 78, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Saturday morning, June 13, 2015 at his home.

Born September 19, 1936 in Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of Herbert and Deloris (Wilson) Linnabary. He was raised and received his education in Wichita, graduating from West High in 1954. Following high school he began working moving houses and later at Cessna. He was drafted in the United States Army on January 13, 1960. He served his country until his honorable discharge on March 16, 1962. He then went to work for Boeing Aircraft Company, where he continued working until his retirement in 1998.

Satch was united in marriage to Glenda Moss on March 14, 1974 in Wichita. The couple made their home in Winfield.

He was a member of the New Life Chapel in Udall. He enjoyed planes, cars and motorcycles as well as collecting trains. He loved all aspects of music.

His brothers: Jack Linnabary and wife, Belinda of Florida; and Rick Linnabary and wife, Earlene of Wichita; and
His 23 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Satch was preceded in death by his daughters, Wendy and Lisa Hamilton and his son, Jerry Linnabary, Jr.

The family will hold memorial services on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the New Life Chapel in Udall.
