Jeffery Levi Dennett, 19, of Burden, Kansas, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019.

Jeffery was the son of Charles and Margaret (Hauser) Dennett. He was raised and received his education in Burden and Atlanta, Kansas, graduating from Burden High School in 2018. While in school he was a member of the baseball team, wrestling team, and served as the Stuco President. Jeffery also worked part-time as a ranch hand in the Burden area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hanging out with his friends.

His family includes his parents Charles and Margaret Dennett; his siblings, Jordan; Raymie; Marlie; Cooper (Sandie); Jessica (Thad) and their children, Geneveive and Winifred; Clarissa (Jordan) and their children, Jonah and Adeline; Staci and her son, Ezra; Holli and her children, Kai, Jossalee, Lilyanna, and Elliette; along with his biological siblings, Sarah; Sady (Skylar) and their son, Milo; Jarrod.

In addition to his grandparents, Jeffery was preceded in death by a sister, Angelina.

The family will hold a gathering, light meal, and a time to reminisce at the Burden City Park on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 4:30 P.M. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial has been established in Jeffery's name for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
