JAYNELL L. FEASTER, 78, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita.
Born on December 5, 1934 in Cambridge, Kansas, she was the daughter of Jay Leslie and Deloris (Rosebud) Highbee. She was raised and received her education in Cambridge where she graduated from Cambridge High School in 1952.
She was united in marriage on December 5, 1952 to Rudolph W. Feaster in Buloxi, Mississippi. The couple traveled and lived in several places while Rudolph was in the military. They moved to Winfield in 1970 and Mr. Feaster preceded her in death on September 22, 1970. Jaynell managed the Wildcat Drive Inn in Oxford, Kansas and later owned the Family Inn Restaurant for 10 years. After retiring, she worked part-time at Casey's.
Jaynell was a member of the First Christian Church in Winfield. She loved spending time with her family, going to garage sales and was an avid University of Kansas fan, especially basketball.

Her daughters: Barbara Mayo and husband Rob of New Salem, KS; Pam Russell and husband Ben of Winfield, KS; and Tracie Craft and husband Msgt. Zeph of Colorado Springs, CO;
Her grandchildren: Josh Mayo and wife Hanna, Matt Mayo, Seth Russell and wife Rachel, and Jordan and Jayden Craft; and
Her great-granddaughters: Natalie and Annika Russell.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Wallace and her grandson, Sean Russell.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.
A memorial has been established in Jaynell's name for the American Heart Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
