Obituary

Jannette Weber, 52, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday morning, May 25, 2017 at her home.

Born August 7, 1964 in Norfolk, Nebraska, she was the daughter of Marvin and Barbara (Wittwer) Johnson. She was raised in Norfolk and attended Norfolk High School.

Jannette married Steve Weber on June 21, 1986. The couple made their home in Rogers, Nebraska. The couple later divorced. Jannette then moved to Campbell, Texas and went to work as a forklift operator for Rubbermaid in Greenville, Texas. In 2012, she transferred with Rubbermaid to Winfield, Kansas where she retired due to health concerns after 22 years of service. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and sudoku. Her children were the light of her life. She especially loved spending time with them and her grandchildren.

Her family includes:
Her sons: Staff Sergeant Derek Stoll United States Army and wife, Zora of Canton MI; Nuclear Machinist's Mate 2nd Class Kultin Weber United States Navy (Retired) of Campbell, Texas;
Her daughter: Giotta Weber of Forney, Texas;
Her foster father: Carl Walter of Norfolk, Nebraska;
Her sister: Marla Johnson of Winfield, KS;
Her brother: Vern Johnson and husband, William Sullivan of Hockley, Texas; and
Her grandchildren: Suko Weber and Gabriella Stoll.

In addition to her mother, Jannette was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Shaw, a brother, Larry Johnson and her foster mom, Granny B.

Cremation has been effected. The family will hold services in Norfolk, Nebraska at a later date. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of local arrangements.
