Jacob Andes, 25, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away July 12, 2017 at his home.

Born January 3, 1992 in Winfield, he was the son of Kenneth Lee and Renee (Davis) Andes. He was raised and received his education in Winfield, graduating from Burden High School in 2010. He worked at Wal-Mart and was currently a CAP2 Supervisor. Jake was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish, hunt, especially coyote hunt, trap and go kayaking and he loved his dogs. His daughter, Jennika was the light of his life.

His fiancé: Paige Kieffer of Winfield;
His step-children: Rachel Kieffer and Liam Barber of Winfield;
His sister: Ashley Andes of Wichita;
His step-brother: Cooper Wassall of Winfield;
His maternal grandfather: Leo Meadows of Winfield;
His aunts and uncles: Kody and Deanna Andes, Kiley Lin Andes and Mendy Wilson; and
Numerous great aunts and uncles and cousins.

Jake was preceded in death by his father, Kenny Andes, brother, James Willis "J.W." Andes, maternal grandmother, Marilyn Meadows and paternal grandparents, Willis and Janiece Andes.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Wilmot Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors from 5 to 7 that evening.

A memorial has been established for the Jennika Andes Education Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
