JACK PHAKONEKHAM, 32, of Parker, Colorado and former Winfield, Kansas, resident passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at his home.

Born on June 1, 1981 in Malina, Philippines, he was the son of Roy and Lanoy (Phetvixay) Phakonekham. He was raised and received his education in Winfield and graduated from Winfield High School in 2000. Jack later lived in Wichita and was employed for FedEx. In 2009, he moved to Parker, Colorado and attended the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Jack was to graduate May 19, 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering.

He enjoyed fishing, snowboarding and the outdoors but was most passionate about spending time with his family.

His sisters: Allison Gonzalez and husband Damien of Parker, CO; and Jessica Payne and husband Aaron of Wichita, KS;
His nieces: River Anabel Hart and Zoey Porsha Savany Gonzalez; and
His nephews: Cooper Mason Payne and Xander Noysana Bear Gonzalez.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Central Baptist Church in Winfield. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, May 23, 2014.

The family suggests that memorials in Jack's name be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
