Jace O'neil Kilpatrick, 15, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019.

Born September 28, 2003 in Winfield, he was the son of Tekeisha Koroma and Shane O'neil Kilpatrick. Jace was raised in Winfield and was currently in his freshman year at Winfield High School. He loved sports of all kinds, especially football and wrestling. He was a social butterfly and quite the jokester, and had the ability to make anyone laugh.

His family includes his mother Tekeisha Skwiat and husband, Shawn of Oxford; his father Shane Kilpatrick of Tulsa, OK; his siblings, Keeley Skwiat, Kynlee, Hayley, and Taylor Kilpatrick, and Kyler Archer; his maternal grandmother Terry Koroma of Winfield; his maternal grandfather Essa Koroma of Texas; his paternal grandfather Harry Kilpatrick of Lynn Creek, MO; his aunts and uncles, Tim and Jennifer Kilpatrick of Claremore, OK; Allison Kilpatrick of Lynn Creek, MO; Tanner Kilpatrick of Colorado; and many cousins and numerous friends.

Jace was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Kristina Kilpatrick and his uncle Kiyon Koroma.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Central Baptist Church in Winfield. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled at Miles Funeral Service on Monday from 4 to 8 P.M.

A memorial has been established in Jace's name to help defray funeral expenses. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
