Irma L. Gray, 90, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Saturday evening, February 6, 2016 at her home in Winfield.

Born July 15, 1925 in Udall, Kansas, she was the daughter of Noble and Luella (Hoop) Gray. She was raised and received her education in Udall.

Irma moved to the Parsons State Hospital in 1943 when she was 18 years old. She spent the next 60 years in several care facilities including Grouse Creek Nursing Home, Winfield State Hospital and Training Center, Focus, Medical Lodges, and South Wind. In 2003 she became a resident of Easter Seals Capper Foundation. She enjoyed dressing up, listening to music and watching television.

Irma is survived by her guardian, Jolan Csukas as well as her friends and family at Easter Seals Capper Foundation.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at the Udall Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, February 10, 2016 from 5 to 7.

A memorial has been established in Irma's name for Easter Seals Capper Foundation. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
