Hilary Lee Anne (Crow) Archambeau, 30, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020.
Born February 15, 1989, in Topeka, Kansas, she was the daughter of Jeffre Crow and Jancie (Bruce) Ireland. She was raised and received her education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 2007. She then attended Friends University where she received a bachelor's degree in Zoo Science in 2011. Hilary worked with her father at the Burger Station in Winfield as well as substitute teaching in the Winfield School District.
Hilary married Darren Archambeau on October 3, 2015 at Grace United Methodist Church in Winfield. The couple made their home in Winfield. In 2019 she moved to Cedar Vale with her mother and was pursuing a career working with horses and cattle. She was currently employed at Holt Land and Cattle Company. Hilary loved all animals and enjoyed caring for them, from snakes to horses and everything in between. She especially loved her dog Thor, who passed away with her in the accident.
Her family includes her husband Darren Archambeau of Winfield; her father Jeffre Crow of Winfield; Her mother Jancie Ireland of Cedar Vale; her sister Kaitlyn Peine and husband, John of Eudora; her brother Oliver Ireland of Cedar Vale; her paternal grandfather Darrell Crow and wife, Loyce of Winfield; her maternal grandmother Janice Bruce of Pretty Prairie; her nieces, Emery and Ellis Peine of Eudora; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Hilary was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Ralpha Crow and her paternal grandfather Ed Bruce.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 14, 2019 at Central Christian Church in Arkansas City, Kansas. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established in Hilary's name for the Sedgewick County Zoo Education Department. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
