Harry Bruce Burnett, 65, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday morning, February 6, 2017 at his home.
Born October, 24 1951 in Rojas, Arkansas, he was the son of Valrie and Julia Mae (Hinton) Burnett. He was raised in Arkansas until his teen years, when he moved to Kansas City, Kansas. Harry attended high school at Shawnee Mission North.
Harry worked for V.V. Burnett Escavating for 45 plus years digging basements and running heavy equipment. His hobbies included landscaping, remodeling houses, and worshipping God.
His family includes:
His daughters: Julia Caudill and husband Ray of Winfield, Kansas, Colleen Saffier of Kansas City, Kansas;
His sisters: Peggy Wattenburg, Marsha Coke, Sue Metzger ;
His 7 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Blair.
Private family services will take place at a later time. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
A memorial has been established in Harry's name for the Alzheimer's Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
