Harold Paustian, 77, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday evening, November 10, 2016 at Winfield Senior Living.
Born May 15, 1939 in New Liberty, Iowa, he was the son of Harvey and Gladys (Smith) Paustian. He was raised and received his education in Scott County, Iowa. Harold was united in marriage to Betty McMullen on September 15, 1966 in Rock Island, Illinois. Harold worked as a truck driver for over 50 years. He retired from Avilla Trucking in California. Betty preceded him in death in 2013. Harold enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a Nascar fan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

His brother: Allen Weed of Tuscan, AZ;
His son-in-law: Curtis Holst of New Cumberland, PA;
His 6 grandchildren: Christian Voican, Shawn Voican, Amanda Carr, Andrew Mortenson, Chelsea Jellison, Trent Beckwith; and
His 4 great grandchildren: Blake, Matthew, Rayne, Theo.
In addition to his parents and wife, Harold was preceded in death by a daughter, Joy Holst in 2009.
The family will hold private memorial services at a later date.
Memorials have been established in Harold's name for Winfield Senior Living in Winfield and for Labelle Manor in Labelle, Missouri. Contributions may be made through Miles Funeral Service.
