Harold R. Doyle, 75, of Udall, Kansas, passed away Tuesday morning, December 18, 2012 at his home.
Born October 8, 1937 in Conway Springs, Kansas he was the son of Robert William and Jane Mae (Ervin) Doyle. He was raised and received his education in Planeview, Kansas graduating from Planeview High School in 1955. After school he joined the United States Navy where he served on the USS Grand Canyon in the Mediterranean Sea. After his honorable discharge he returned to Kansas.
Harold was united in marriage to Barbara Harris on June 28, 1959 at the First Congregational Church of Udall in Udall, Kansas. The couple made their first home in Winfield. In 1962 they moved to Udall and established the family farm. Harold worked as a welder for several years and later became a jig builder. He worked for several Wichita area Aircraft companies as a jig builder retiring from Boeing in 1994.
He was a member of Heritage Evangelical Free Church in Udall and was involved in the Planeview High School Memorial serving as the treasurer. He enjoyed working on the family farm.

His sons: Matthew Doyle and wife, Jenni of Belle Plaine; Michael Doyle and wife, Michelle of Andover; Andrew Doyle and wife, Alissa of Austin, TX;
His sister: Theda Mae Ingram of Wichita; and
His grandchildren: Meagan Yakelis, Jennica Siddle, Patrick Jackson, Grant Doyle, Garrett Doyle, Emily Doyle, Jessica Scram, James Doyle, and Abigail Doyle
In addition to his parents Harold was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Page Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 21, 2012 at Heritage Evangelical Free Church in Udall. Interment will follow at Udall Cemetery. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield on Thursday evening December 20, 2012 from 4 to 8. The family will greet visitors that evening.
A memorial has been established in Mr. Doyle's name for the Heritage Evangelical Free Church Window Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
