Gloria H. Graham, 79, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away early Wednesday morning, December 20, 2023, at Cumbernauld Village.

Born June 15, 1944 in Miami, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Ralph and Mary (Boston) Hawkins.  She was raised and received her education in Miami, graduating from Miami High School in 1962.

She married David Graham on December 29, 1962.  While the couple was stationed in Tokyo, Japan Gloria worked teaching English.   They later settled in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas where Gloria worked as a secretary for several area businesses including an insurance agency.  To this union, two children were born.  The couple later divorced.

In 1995 Gloria moved to Neodesha, Kansas to be near family. While there, she worked part-time at the public library.  In 2015, she moved to Winfield.

Her family includes her daughter Tamara McEwen and husband, James of Winfield; her siblings, Donna Williams and husband, Gerald of Claremore, OK; Richard Hawkins and wife, Joan of Stillwater, OK; Ronnie Hawkins and wife, Donna of Miami, OK; Vicki Tunnell and husband, Byron of Broken Arrow, OK; her grandchildren, Andy McEwen of Neodesha; Jake McEwen and wife, Mary of Thayer; Amy Whitaker and husband, Jeffari of Star, NC; and her great grandchildren, Serenity, Kaiden, Madison, Faith, C.J., Porter, Davey, D.J., Tayvon, Aniyah, Allie, and Phoebe.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by a daughter Elizabeth "Libby" Molina, a brother Roger Hawkins, and a great granddaughter Myshelle.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Friday, January 12, 2024, at the Church of Christ, 124 B St. NW, Miami, OK 74354, under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.  Interment will follow at the GAR Cemetery in Miami, Oklahoma.

Memorials have been established in Gloria's name for the Alzheimer's Association and for the Cowley County Humane Society.  Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
