Glen W. Holt, 69, of Atlanta, Kansas, passed away early Thursday morning, December 17, 2015 at LakePoint Nursing Home in El Dorado, Kansas.

Born June 16, 1946 in Winfield, Kansas, he was the son of Calvin and Mabel Holt. He was raised and received his education in Atlanta, graduating from Atlanta High School in 1964.

Glen was united in marriage to Edell Wrampe on June 22, 1969 at the First Christian Church in Winfield. The couple made their home in Atlanta. Glen began working at Beech Aircraft. He later worked at Valley Coop for several years until retiring in 2007 to care for his wife. Mrs. Holt preceded him in death in September 2007.

He was a member of Prairie View United Methodist Church. Glen enjoyed farming and raising chickens.

His grandson: David Holt;
His brothers: Raymond Holt and wife, Maureen of Derby, KS; Ralph Holt and wife, Marie of Rock, KS; Leonard Holt and wife, Janet of Atlanta, KS; Eldon Holt and wife, Carolyn of Cheney, KS; and
Several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Glen was preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine Anne and two sisters, Gladys Davis and Nancy Finney.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield, Kansas. Interment will follow at Wilmot Cemetery north of Winfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors during this time.

A memorial has been established in Glen's name for Prairie View United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
