George Steven Spotts, 63, of Winfield, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita.

Born January 8, 1960, in San Fernando, California, he was the son of Floyd Eugene "Bud" and Wilma Marie (Stokesberry) Spotts.  Following school, George proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.  He later worked as a truck driver for many years.

George made a life in Winfield with Mary Spotts and her children for twenty years, sharing a lifetime of memories.  He enjoyed collecting guns, hats, and guitars.  He spent his time hanging out with friends and going for drives, listening to music.

George's family includes his fiance Haley Bursack of Wellington; his daughter Amy Love of Winfield; and his grandchildren, Bradley, Charlie, Ethan, Lexi, Chloe, and Miles.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by a son Steven Eugene Spotts.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, June 26, 2023, at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.  Interment and Military Committal Honors will follow at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery.  A visitation is scheduled at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 5 P.M.
