Gayla Annette Wade, 60, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday night, February 23, 2023, at William Newton Hospial.

Born July 4, 1962, in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of Bill and Marlene (Kirby) Haynes. She was raised and received her education in Burden, Kansas, graduating from Burden High School. Gayla was currently working in housekeeping for Cumbernauld Village. She was a proud mom and meemaw and loved to brag on her family.

Her family includes her son Brandon Reynolds of Winfield; her grandson Gavin Reynolds of Winfield; her mother Marlene Valentine of Augusta; her siblings, Phil Haynes and wife, Cindy of Colorado; Sonya Schantz and husband, Gaylon of Augusta; Tim Haynes of Augusta; Paula Wallis of Augusta; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gayla was preceded in death by her father and a sister Donita Campbell.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
