Obituary

Gail Hunt, 52, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday afternoon, November 15, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Born September 25, 1963 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Richard D. and Grace F. (Hellmann) Loadman. She was raised and received her education in Pittsburgh, graduating from Baldwin High School in 1981. She then attended Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh and graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in 1985. She completed her Master's Degree in 1992 through Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California.

Gail was united in marriage to Eric Hunt on November 2, 1991 in Westchester, Ohio. The couple made their home in Ontario, California and later moved to Vancouver, British Columbia. In 1994, they moved to Narita, Japan and Gail volunteered her time teaching English to those in the community. In 2001, the family moved to Winfield, Kansas. Gail began working as a Para Educator for the Winfield School District in 2010. She was currently working at the Winfield Middle School.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed scrap booking, cooking, swimming, and going to the movies. She especially loved spending time with her children.

Her family includes:

Her son: Noah Hunt of Winfield;
Her daughters: Isabella and Abigale Hunt of Winfield;
Her mother: Grace Loadman of Powder Springs, GA; and
Her brother: Eric Loadman of Lithia Springs, GA;

Gail was preceded in death by her father, Richard Loadman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 20, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Winfield Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service on Thursday evening from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors that evening.

Memorials have been established in Gail's name for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and for the Youth Campership Fund at First United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
