FRANK D. LEWIS, 67, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday morning, September 12, 2013 at William Newton Hospital in Winfield.
Born on October 1, 1945 in Bromide, Kansas, he was the son of Cecil L. and Charlsie (Timmons) Lewis. He was raised and received his education in Cedar Vale and graduated from Cedar Vale Memorial High School in 1963.
He was united in marriage to Kathy Dale in 1964 in Cedar Vale, Kansas where the couple made their home. Frank made ranching his lifelong career until retiring in the 1990's due to health concerns. In 2005, the couple moved to Winfield.
Frank attended the First Baptist Church in Cedar Vale. His hobbies included spending time with his grandchildren and attending their activities.

His son: Jason Lewis and wife Terri of Strong City, KS;
His sister: Deanna Oliver of Derby, KS;
His grandchildren: Tanner, Bailey and Jaron; and
Extended family, granddaughter. Leah Lawrence.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Lincoln Todd Lewis in 2007.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Cedar Vale, Kansas.
A memorial has been established in Frank's name for the First Baptist Church in Cedar Vale. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
