EVELYN DUDECK, 91, of Oxford, Kansas, passed away Friday, April 29, 2011 at Riverview Manor Nursing Home in Oxford.

Born March 26, 1920 in Winfield, she was the daughter of Ralph and Blanche (Spencer) Wright. She was raised and received her education in New Salem.

Evelyn was united in marriage to Herman Dudeck in 1945 in Winfield. The couple made their home one mile north of Wilmot, Kansas. Mrs. Dudeck was a farmer's wife and a homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of her yard and also enjoyed sewing in her younger years. Herman preceded her in death in 1991.

Her family includes:
Her son: Rod Dudeck and wife, Bernice of New Salem;
Her daughters: Linda Nida of Winfield; and Debra Brunton and husband, Brad of Blue Springs, Missouri; and
Her 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Wadsack.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning, May 3, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at Highland Cemetery. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in Evenlyn's name to Riverview Manor Nursing Home. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
