Eugene Hutchison, 49, of Udall, Kansas, passed away Monday evening, March 28, 2016 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

Born January 21, 1967 in Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of Roland and Carol (Goodman) Hutchison. He was raised and received his education in Wichita. After school, he joined the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, he returned to Wichita.

In 1989, he met Jennifer Cybulski. The couple made their home in Udall where they raised their family and were married on September 30, 2006. Gene began working as a drywaller for Roets Brothers Drywall. In 2001, he began working for Danny Satterfield Drywall and remained there for over 15 years working as a project manager.

Gene was a member of Udall Nazarene Church. He enjoyed shooting, fishing, and remodeling and flipping houses.

His family includes:
His wife: Jennifer of Udall;
His daughter: Breanna Cybulski and fiancé, Jacob Williams of Derby;
His sons: Dakota, Levi and Cameron Hutchison all of Udall;
His mother: Carol Roets of Wichita;
His sisters: Teresa Richardson-Turley and husband, Matthew Turley of Fayetteville, AR; Brenda Roets of Wichita; DeAnn Newman and husband, Billy of Wichita; and
His grandson: Caiden Bergman of Derby.

Gene was preceded in death by his father, Roland Hutchison, his step-father, Larry Roets, his brother-in-law, Jay Richardson, his grandmother, Agnes Giddens, and a sister, Tammy Roets.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Udall Nazarene Church. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial has been established in Gene's name for Wounded Warriors. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
