ERROL ZACHARY HALVERSTADT, 21, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday morning, May 10, 2013 near Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Born on December 5, 1991 in Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of Errol Halverstadt and Gloria Struthers. He was raised in Winfield and graduated from Winfield High School in 2011. Following graduation Zach worked at Creekstone, S & Y Industries, KSQ and Calmar.

He was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Winfield and was active in the Royal Ambassadors Club. He enjoyed basketball, football, wrestling and dancing. Zach loved spending time at the lake with family, camping and boating. He also had an interest in art and collecting shoes and hats.

His sisters: Ashley Conner, Miki Struthers, Jennifer Porter, Sarah Conner and Samantha Shrewsberry all of Winfield, KS;
His maternal grandparents: Dorothy Carpenter of Winfield, KS; and Ralph and Denzil Struthers of Clearwater, KS;
His paternal grandparents: Abe and Carol Conner of Winfield, KS; and
A host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death his grandmother Marjorie Halverstadt and his grandfather Jerry Halverstadt, his brother Thomas Potter and his uncle David Carpenter,

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Central Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 15, 2013.

A memorial has been established in Zach's name for a college fund for his daughter Lillie Elizabeth at Bank of the West. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
