Emogene Branson's Obituary
EMOGENE BRANSON, 83, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Saturday morning, June 19, 2010 at Cumbernauld Village.
Born May 31, 1927 in Cherokee, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Charles Lloyd and Beatrice (Hatch) Branson. She was raised and educated in Cherokee until her family moved to the Winfield area in 1940.
Emogene enjoyed sewing and fishing.
Her family includes:
Her brother: Bill Branson of Venita, Oklahoma;
Her sister: Thelma Marie Stoabs of Winfield, Kansas; and
Her many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Emogene was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe, Dave, Tom and Charles, and her sister, Maxine.
Private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established in Emogene's name to help defray expenses. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
