Elsie L. Kilts, 94, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday morning, May 25, 2009 at Via Christ St. Francis in Wichita.
Born November 8, 1914 in Durant, Oklahoma she was the daughter of Nathaniel R. and Bessie (Rolator) Eudaly. She was raised and received her education in the Winfield and New Salem area.
She was united in marriage to Paul Kilts, and to this union a son was born. The couple later divorced. Elsie worked for Boeing during the World War II. She later went to work for Cessna where she remained until she retired in 1969.
She was a member of both the First Christian Church in Winfield and Rebekah's Lodge. Her hobbies included traveling, camping, and attending family reunions. She had taken several cross country bus trips, as well as traveling several times to England.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Paul Edward Kilts, her brothers, Roy and Cecil Eudaly, her sisters, Lucy Johnson, Mary Kilts, and Ruth Anderson, her nephews, Jerry Kilts, Gary Kilts, Roger Holman, and niece, Robin Eudaly.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday May 29, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Inurnment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Mrs. Kilts' name for the Relay for Life. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
