ELLA "BUNNIE" RAY, 96, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday morning, September 5, 2013 at her home.
Born on May 24, 1917 in Bethleham, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Eugene and Regina (Nagy) Ladachy. She was raised in Bethleham and graduated from Bethlehem High School.
Bunnie was united in marriage to Paul J. Ray in February of 1944. The couple lived in Pasadena, California. Mr. Ray preceded her in death in July of 1998. She later resided in Bend, Oregon and Emporia, Kansas.
She was one of the Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed sharing the Bible with all she came in contact with.

Her sons: Paul J. Ray, Jr. and wife Kathy of Winfield, KS; Alex Ray and wife Karen of Roswell, GA; and Joe Ray and wife Mary of Bend, OR;
Her daughter: Christine Sloan of Temesala, CA;
Her grandchildren: Philip Ray and wife Anna of Winfield, KS; Micah Ray and wife Shaelyn of Cummings, GA; Melissa Lumpkin and husband Mat of Cummings, GA;
Her great-grandchildren: Bond Ray, Chloe Ray, Ava Lumpkin and Luke Lumpkin.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, David Ray.
In lieu of flowers, Bunnie would have liked consideration of memorials to be made to the Winfield Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses building fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
