Edward B. "Bart" Haworth, 82 of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday evening, July 1, 2016 at the Kansas Veterans' Home in Winfield.
Bart was born February 13, 1934 in Atlanta, Kansas. After school he joined the United States Marines and proudly served his country. After his honorable discharge he returned to the Winfield, area. He worked in construction most of his life as a stone mason, welder, and heavy equipment operator.
Private services will be held at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established in Bart's name for the Kansas Veterans' Home. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
