Douglas Dee Caldwell, 42, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday morning, October 27, 2024 at William Newton Hospital following an automobile accident.

Born March 11, 1982 in Enid, Oklahoma, he was the son of Dennis Wayne and Karen (Morris) Caldwell.  Douglas was reared in Ponca City and Enid, receiving most of his education in Ponca.  He completed his GED in 2008.

Douglas began working as a welder for Bliss Industries CPM in Ponca City in 2015.  He enjoyed hunting for arrowheads, singing, dancing, drawing, and creating all sorts of different artwork.  Douglas especially loved spending time with friends.  He lived life to the fullest.

His family includes daughter Sabrina Golay; son Caleb; daughter Sophia; granddaughter Harper Golay; wife Jennifer Caldwell; mother Karen Morris; grandfather Rick Coan; sisters, Haley Diaz, Tabitha Caldwell, Amy Smith, Keri Cuccaro, and Maggie Caldwell-Smith; aunts, Kimberly Morris and Debbie Caldwell Craig; uncle David Caldwell; step-son Titan; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Douglas was preceded in death by father Dennis Wayne Caldwell; grandparents, Buddy Caldwell, Terry Caldwell, and Jackie Cornish; aunt Kelly Bishop; and uncle Douglas Dee Caldwell.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at the Carolyn Renfro Event Center on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 2 to 5 P.M.  Arrangements are under the direction of Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.
