Obituary

DOTTIE HOWE, 90, of Broomfield, Colorado, went home to be with the Lord, April 7, 2008.

Born on March 8, 1918 in Iola, Kansas, she was the daughter of William and Lena (Hopkins) Morrow. She was raised in the Winfield area where she met Edward W. "Ted" Howe. The couple were united in marriage on February 24, 1938 in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Dottie was a fulltime homemaker. Mr. Howe preceded her in death on December 21, 2002.

Dottie entered the Broomfield Nursing Home in Colorado in October of 2003. She enjoyed playing Bingo and many other activities. She also taught other residents to know and enjoyed visits from her loving family.

Her family includes:
Her son: Marvin Howe and wife Karen of Northglenn, CO;
Her sister: Bertha Oldstrom of Blanding, UT;
Her sister-in-law: Marie Hamlin of Winfield, KS;
Her 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson; and
A host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.
