Obituary

Donnina "Lyn" Ross, 44, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Wednesday evening, July 07, 2010 at her home.

Born September 08, 1965 in El Dorado, Kansas, she was the daughter of Darrell and Sandra (Smith) Beeman. Her father passed away while she was a child, and Lyn was raised by her mother and stepfather, Ezequiel Villarreal. She was raised and received her education in Madison, Kansas graduating from Madison High School in 1984.

Lyn was united in marriage to Danny Ross on August, 25 1984 in Emporia. The couple made their home in Madison where Lyn raised their two sons. In 1997 the family moved to Winfield, where Lyn worked as an in home caregiver for several people in the area. She had recently graduated from Kaplan University with a degree in Medical Coding.

She enjoyed gardening, horseback riding, and watching her sons play sports. She was like a mom to all of the baseball and football players. She was a loving mother that especially loved spending time with her family. She was a friend to all who knew her.

Her parents: Sandra and Ezequiel Villarreal of Madison,
Her brothers: Chris Beeman of Texas; Saul Villarreal of Texas;
Her sisters: Tracy Ellenwood of Ohio; Miranda Crisp of Winfield;
Her other sisters: Connie and Mel; and
Her maternal grandmother: Velma Heidrick of Emporia.

Lyn was preceded in death by her father, Darrell Beeman, her maternal grandfather Robert "Bob" Heidrick, and her paternal grandmother Margie Beeman.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Monday, July 12, 2010 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

A Memorial has been established in Lyn's name The Ronald McDonald House Charities. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
