Donna Venable, 46, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021.

Born February 11, 1975, in Winfield, she was the daughter of Ronald and Jackie (Hoyt) Spencer. She was raised and received her education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 1993. She then attended Cowley County Community College, receiving her associate degree in 1995.

Donna married Greg Venable in 1996. To this union, two sons were born. The couple separated in 2009. She began working as a Material Clerk for William Newton Hospital, where she remained for over 21 years. She enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with her two sons and her dog, Cooper.

Her family includes her sons, Bryce Venable of Winfield; Reese Venable of Winfield; her father Ronald Spencer of Winfield; her sisters, Peggy Venn of Duncan, OK; Miranda Spencer-Reed of Owasso, OK; Angela Dawn Reed of Palestine, TX; Tiffany Rowe of Collinsville, OK; and many nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother Jackie Spencer and her grandparents, Harley and Betty Hoyt, Leland and Ada "B" Hopper, and Martha and Meryl Spencer.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 7, 2022, at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors from 4 to 6 that evening.

A memorial has been established in Donna's name to help defray funeral expenses. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
