Donna Gott, 77, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday evening, July 13, 2023, at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita.

Born January 29, 1946, in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of Clarence and Opal (Dugeon) Hall.  She was raised and received her education in Wichita.  She spent her Summers on the family farm and attending nursing school in Wichita.

Donna was united in marriage to Bobbie Alvin "Bob" Gott on January 14, 1966.  The couple made their home in Wichita, later moving to Fort Worth, Texas. Donna worked for various heart doctors while in Texas.  She also worked at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, for home health, and for Dr. Shazahda in Arkansas City.  Following retirement, Donna and Bob moved to the family farm in Winfield.  Bob preceded her in death on August 27, 2020.

Her family includes her sister Martha Dervaes of Fort Worth, TX.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at New Salem Cemetery.  A visitation is scheduled at Miles Funeral Service on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 P.M.

Memorials have been established in Donna's name for Southwestern College Nursing Program and for Cowley County Humane Society.  Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
