Obituary

Dedra was born on February 2, 1962, in Arkansas City, Kansas, to James M. Reynolds and Deloris Jean (Plush) Reynolds. She departed this life on August 2, 2026, at the age of 64.

Dedra attended school in Arkansas City, Kansas and college at Cowley County Community College.

Dedra worked in the bakery and deli departments of Wheeler’s IGA in Winfield, Kansas, at Serendipity Special Purpose School in the State Home at Winfield, and at the public school system in Ardmore, Oklahoma, with special education children.

She trained and received certification as a Licensed Massage Therapist. She opened her own business and practiced massage therapy in Winfield, Wellington, and Ardmore, for over eight years.

Dedra was married to John D. Crow from December 1977 to April 1991. She was blessed with daughters, Cami C. Crow and Amy L. Crow.

On June 24, 1994, she married Scott Crawford and was blessed with daughter Heather S. Smith and son Chad M. Crawford.

Dedra loved to garden and work with flowers. She enjoyed traveling, boating, camping, and being outdoors. She also enjoyed bowling and looked forward to decorating for the holidays.

Dedra liked to travel and really enjoyed time at the beach or in the mountains. She was happiest when spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to play board games, cards, and puzzles with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren participate in sports. Her memory will forever be in the hearts of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by a sister Danita Reynolds in 1963, mother Deloris Hatfield in 2013, and her father James Reynolds in 2015.

She is survived by her husband of the home, Scott Crawford; daughter Cami Crow of Haysville, KS; daughter Amy Foreman and husband, James of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter Heather Smith and husband, Steve of Arkansas City, KS; son Chad Crawford of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Gabrielle Avery and husband, Devin; Dylan Reese and wife, Madison; Chase Crawford and wife, Shanelle; James Foreman, IV; Kirsten Kessinger and husband, Nate; Chance Crawford; Jace Conner; and Cara Conner; her great grandchildren, Hadlee Barclay, Wyatt Stanley, Greyson Crawford; Huxlee Avery; sister Diana James of Neodesha, KS; step-father Sterling Hatfield of Arkansas City, KS; niece Jessica Apollo of Neodesha, KS; and nephew Dalton James of Neodesha, KS.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 7, 2026, at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield, KS. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM. The family will greet visitors during this time.

A memorial has been established in Dedra’s name for Family Shelter of Southern Oklahoma. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
