Debra Bruce, 49, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 19, 2015 at her home.

Born September 20, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Dora Aurora Venegas. She was raised and received her education in Arkansas City, Kansas.

Debra was united in marriage to Jim Bruce on December 16, 1994 in Ozark, Missouri. The couple made their home in Winfield. She worked for plastics companies in Winfield, including K Square and Calmar. She retired due to failing health.

Her family includes:
Her husband: Jim Bruce of Winfield;
Her children: Adrian Bedolla, Steven Rodriguez and Elijah Bedolla all of Winfield;
Her mother: Dora Aurora Venegas of Arkansas City;
Her brothers and sisters: Yolanda, Andrea, Eladio Jr., Salvador, Raquel, Monica and Cesar; and
Her grandchildren: Maliah, Esteban Jr., Divinity, Tavian.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Olga and her brother, Jose Antonio.

The family will hold memorial services Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at First Christian Church.

A Memorial has been established in Debra's name to help defray funeral expenses. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
