David Michael "Mike" Wooddell, 60, of Winfield, Kansas passed away Monday evening, September 30, 2013 at his home.

Born November 26, 1952 in Winfield, Kansas he was the son of Richard and Patricia (Powell) Wooddell. He was raised and received his education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 1971. He later attend and graduated from Auctioneer School.

Mike worked at several business in the Winfield area, including Dillons and Rubbermaid. Recently he had worked for El Dorado Livestock Auction. He enjoyed working with cattle and going antiquing.

His family includes:
His dad: Richard Wooddell of Ponca City;
His sister: Marcia Evans and husband, Lee of Winfield;
His brother: Rex Wooddell of Overland Park; and
His nephew: Cory Young and wife, Kara of Winfield.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Winfield. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial has been established in Mike's name for Cowley County 4-H. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
