DAVID C. ANDREAE, 59, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born in Denver, Colorado, he was the son of Catherine Elizabeth (David) and Charles Opner Andreae. He was raised and received his education in Evergreen, Colorado graduating from Parmalee High School in Evergreen. As a young man, David worked as a gas station attendant. He later successfully owned and operated Countryside Autobody in Winfield. He was an aviation specialist for Textron/Beechcraft as well.
David was a member of New Life Chapel in Udall, Kansas. He was also a member of the Falcon Club of America. He enjoyed racing anything with speed, and loved spending time with his family at the lake, camping and boating. He especially loved his grandchildren.

His son: Anthony David Andreae of Winfield and Anthony's children, Anthony Haden, Trae Lorne and Jastyn RaeAnn Dahn Andreae;
Son: Lorne Dean Andreae and spouse, Linnie of Waycross, GA and their children, Braydn and Nayla Andreae;
Son: Daniel Mark Andreae and girlfriend, Lacey of Winfield and Daniel's son, Jack Andreae;
Son: David Derrick Andreae and wife, Elizabeth and their children, Riley Elizabeth and Eli David Andreae;
Son: Jesse William Andreae and wife, Jodi of Winfield;
His brothers: Mark Lewis Andreae; Rocky Ernest Andreae; and
His sister: Christine Whittamore.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, William "Bill" Andreae.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at New Life Chapel in Udall, Kansas. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service on Tuesday evening from 4 to 8. The family will greet visitors during this time.
A Memorial has been established in David's name for Harry Hynes Hospice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
