DANNY JOHN STOWELL, JR., 30, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday morning, May 10, 2013 near Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Born on July 22, 1982 in Winfield, Kansas, he was the son of Danny John and Kathryn Doris (Miller) Stowell. He was raised and received his education in Winfield and graduated from Winfield High School in 2001. Danny took great pride in providing for his son Aiden, and was employed for Creekstone at the time of his death.

He was united in marriage to Chelsie Porter and the couple later divorced.

His hobbies included spending time with his family and friends, Lego time with Aiden, sports, especially baseball games, traveling and his Playstation.

His family includes:
His son: Aiden Thomas Stowell and his brother Bryton;
His brothers: Tom and Billy of New York; and Kyle, Eric and Shannon Stowell;
His sister: Jackie;
His step-mother: Kim Stowell of Texas;
His nieces and nephews: Heaven Winters, Madyson, Christopher and Landyn Neal, Jazmyne, Tyler and Maximus Shannon; and
His beloved friend Kaytlin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Central Baptist Church. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 15, 2013.

A memorial has been established in Danny's name for an education fund for his son Aiden. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
