Daniel Ray Long, Sr., 46, of Atlanta, Kansas, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at his home.
Born November 1, 1979, in Anaheim, California, he was the son of Wesley Emerson, Sr. and Rosemary (Lopez) Long. He was raised and received his education in Southern California. While in high school, he met Amanda Lindsay through mutual friends, and in 2003, the couple moved to Winfield, Kansas.
He was united in marriage to Amanda on July 18, 2009, in Burden where the couple settled with their six children. The couple later divorced. On February 18, 2022, he married Celina Willis in Miami, Oklahoma. Daniel made his career working in the oil fields. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
His family includes his wife Celina Willis of Winfield; his children, Summer Firebaugh and husband, Cory of Emporia; Daniel Ray Long, Jr. of Burden; Seath Emerson Long and wife, Catherine of Burden; Emily Magdalena Long of Winfield; Benjamin Richard Long of Burden; Ivan Long of Burden; his step children, Eliana Barron of Andover; Gabriella Martinez of Winfield; Dominick Martinez of Winfield; Abel Willis of Winfield; his grandchildren, Jocelyn Grace Firebaugh and Sage Emery Long; and his brothers, Chris Martinez of Ridgecrest, CA; and Wesley Emerson Long, Jr. of Ridgecrest, CA.
In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by a brother Leon Andrew Martinez.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.
