Dale R. Ramsey, 75, of Cedar Vale, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at his home.
Born December 1, 1941 in Wichita, Kansas he was the son of Raymond and Disi (Peer) Ramsey.  The family moved to Cedar Vale, Kansas where Dale attended Cedar Vale schools, graduating in 1960.
Dale's passion was the family ranch, which was homesteaded in 1875.  He loved watching his cattle and the wildlife on the ranch.  He leased the ranch in his later years to hunters and really enjoyed listening to their stories and seeing their trophies.  Dale acquired his real estate license in the late 1970's and his broker's license in the 1980's.  He worked for McFall Realty and later opened Ramsey Realty.
He is survived by:
His cousins:  Bob Brant and wife, Susie; Jan Bly and husband, Steve;
Many other cousins; and
The Turkey Creek Mob: Mike, Bill, Connie and Debbie.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 1:30 P.M. at the Cedar Vale Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at the Cedar Vale Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church on Tuesday evening from 4 to 8 P.M.  Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials have been established in Dale's name for Masonic Lodge #133 in Arkansas City and for the Shriner's Plane of Mercy.  Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
