Cynthia Lee Heffron, 67, of Belle Plaine, Kansas, passed away, Friday afternoon, November 11, 2022 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita.
Born April 13, 1955, in Arkansas City, Kansas, she was the daughter of Milton Eugene and Shirley Lee (Shank) Robins. She was raised and received her education in Arkansas City, graduating from Arkansas City High School in 1973.
She was united in marriage to Richard Heffron on January 22, 1976, at Hillcrest Bible Baptist Church in Arkansas City. The couple made their first home in rural Cowley County before moving to Arkansas City. Cindy spent her life caring for children, as a mother, a daycare provider, and foster mother. Richard and Cindy moved to Belle Plaine in 2006. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Her family includes her husband Richard of Belle Plaine; her children, James Heffron and wife, Jasmine of Belle Plaine; Lyric Love and wife, Cristel of Peck; her grandchildren, Taylor Heffron, Kara Heffron, Tyler Blake, and Shelby Blake; her sister Belinda South of Derby; her brother Anthony Robins of Wichita; and her nieces, Rachel Morrow and husband, Drew of Derby; Christen South of Wichita.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.
